Full-Time Patient Care Monitor / ReceptionistChelsea, MALocation is 1-2 miles from Boston ; very close to Logan Airport.HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) is looking for highly versatile, professional and multitasking representative to handle a variety of functions in the treatment center. An ideal candidate is able to multitask and ensure the coordination of activities such as supervising drug screen collection, data entry, phone coverage, establishing safety and security of patients and staff in the office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each patient entering the building has an I.D.
  • Creates orderly waiting line; have patients stand in single file while they are waiting to receive medication.
  • Performs crowd control (makes sure that after dosing, patients leave the clinic timely, unless they have an appointment to see a staff person).
  • Acts as receptionist, performs secretarial duties - includes answering phones, forwarding calls, managing mail flow, data entry, reconcile daily money collected, and office inventory control.
  • Assist Medical Director/Program Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes - including scheduling, patient check in, insurance verification, payment collection and follow up calls.

  • Office maintenance - ensure children's play area is cleaned, disinfect and clean lab area, clean coffee/beverage area.
  • If applicable - facilitate specimen collection from patients, deliver to lab, file results and distribute to counselors
  • Be friendly, courteous and helpful to all disciplines, reception, clinical and medical.
    • Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications:
      • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 years' prior experience in an office/clinic setting.
      • Excellent customer service skills and professional public presentation skills, including telephone etiquette.
      • Proficient in basic PC skills. Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
      • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, program management, medical staff, counselors and peers.
      • Ability to maintain routine records and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
      • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Shifts: Weekday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm & Weekend 5:45 am - 11:15 am Benefits:
