Job Description:
Duties: Designs, builds, and maintains integrated incoming
client data feeds and database applications. Implements, develops, and
maintains internal SOAP Web services and documentation. Provides
business solutions by developing complex or multiple software
applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting
several divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of
a project. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several
initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience designing, developing, and implementing integration of Workplace
benefit applications according to Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of
experience designing, developing, and implementing integration of Workplace
benefit applications according to Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing
schemas for Web services using Swagger and XMLSpy; developing Web services
(SOAP and RESTful) using JSON and XML formats; performing application
build, deployment, and support using Maven and Ant; performing version
control and continuous integration of build, deploy, and testing, using
Jenkins, stash, and uDeploy; and designing technical design flows using
Visio; DE performing Test Driven Development using testing frameworks
(JUnit, SoapUI, and SOATest); running SQL scripts using SQL Developer
and AQT for verification; building and managing applications using
Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, Visual Studio, and deployment
tools (ClearCase, git stash, Jenkins and uDeploy); performing load
testing to monitor performance using LoadUI and Load Test; and verifying
heap dump logs and garbage collection using JProfiler; DE developing
aggregation applications using Jersey, Spring frameworks, and Message Broker
Tools - - Websphere MQ and WSO2; and combining the outputs of internal
systems to form a consolidated Web services response in XML and JSON
for consumption; DE implementing internal data reconciliation
applications using C# in a .NET environment; developing cloud-based
applications that connect to Amazon S3 for secure, external file transfer; and
developing and managing middle tier applications for integration with
Oracle and DB2 databases, using Java, .NET, REST, and SOAP Web
