Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A school district in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, is
seeking two Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 school
year. These contract positions involve working 30 to 32.5 hours per
week with elementary students in self-contained classrooms.
Teaching assistants will be available in each classroom to provide
support. Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Special
Education Teacher Experience working with elementary-age students
in special education Ability to manage and instruct in a
self-contained classroom setting Strong collaboration skills to
work alongside teaching assistants Location:Woonsocket, Rhode
Island Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and
support to elementary students with special needs Develop and
implement appropriate educational plans and modifications
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure an
effective learning environment Monitor student progress and
communicate with families and administration as needed Benefits and
