Position Description:

Designs, develops, and maintains web-based and middleware applications within an asset management environment according to Agile methodologies. Writes SQL queries to mine and extract data for technical analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works with business partners and technology partners to identify, review, define, interpret, and clarify scope of work in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes.

Contributes to the analysis strategy for technology projects culminating in the creation of documentation to support project needs.

Recommends changes to existing systems design to achieve requirements and recommends designs for new systems based on requirements.

Documents objectives, use cases, requirements, and specifications.

Monitors documentation standards and best practices.

Establishes priorities and scope for the team and works on multiple initiatives concurrently.

Works directly with the user community for project definition.

Communicates Squad leaders vision, objectives, and deliverables to the team.

Works on complex assignments and on multiple phases of a project.

Assists in defining analysis strategy.

Writes use cases to review with Squad leader.

Identifies and records risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions in accordance with project standards.

Participates in the review and validation of Quality Assurance test plans to ensure requirements have been met.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing full-stack systems analysis and design of data-centric technology solutions for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for financial services.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience performing full-stack systems analysis and design of data-centric technology solutions for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for financial services.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing full-stack systems analysis and design, including gathering requirements, documentation, data mining, and functional design; and analyzing system dependencies using SQL queries for UI/front end, web services, and backend Oracle databases.

DE defining, developing, implementing, and supporting solutions for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps methodologies, using JIRA, AgileCraft, Confluence, Bitbucket/Stash, Jenkins; and creating and delivering trainings on designed Agile solutions.

DE defining, developing, and implementing solutions to collect and deliver organizational metrics via dashboards using visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).

DE working within an Agile development team, including role blending between analysis, quality assurance, and project coordination on internal team projects and larger enterprise initiatives across multiple business functions.
