Description: We are seeking a Travel RN specializing in
Stepdown/Telemetry. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2
years of experience in a hospital setting. Candidates must possess
a valid VA license or a compact license upon submission. BLS and
ACLS certifications are required. This position involves working in
an Interventional Care Unit with 18 beds. There are 6 nurses and 1
aide per shift. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 3:1, with
the potential to see 4 patients to 1 nurse. The unit is equipped
with telemetry monitors, Dopplers, cardiac monitors, a-lines, TR
bands, and sheaths. Experience in pre and post nursing care for
vascular surgery and cardiac surgery is preferred. Common
procedures include cardiac catheter lab interventions and vascular
surgeries. Candidates should be dependable, flexible,
teamwork-oriented, and possess strong critical thinking skills.
Flexibility for rotating weekends is expected. Floating may be
required to IMCU, PCNT, and Med-Surg units. 27929375EXPTEMP Job
