Job Description:

As a Breast Sonographer, you will play a critical role in the early detection and care management of breast diseases, primarily using ultrasound technology to create detailed images of breast tissue. This position requires a meticulous and empathetic approach to patient care, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining the integrity of diagnostic equipment. Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations, ensuring clear imaging is captured for diagnostic purposes. Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze sonographic images. Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality as you gather patient history and explain procedures. Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Document and record findings and prepare preliminary reports for healthcare practitioners. Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in sonographic technology. Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing complex sonographic examinations. Strong analytical skills to interpret sonographic data. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team. Ability to manage time effectively and handle a significant workload.
