Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 32 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a contract position for approximately 16-32 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs. Schedule / Shift The position involves rotating schedules between day and evening shifts, typically consisting of three-day shifts with one off shift. Off shift options are 0845-1915, 1045-2115, or 1245-2315. Additionally, one weekday call per week and one 24-hour call per month is required. Job Description The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This position requires flexibility to meet patient care needs and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team. Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for all surgical cases, excluding CVOR cases. Participate in preoperative assessments and patient education. Ensure a sterile environment and maintain infection control standards. Monitor patient conditions during procedures and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Registered Nurse. Experience in a large (500 beds) trauma level 1 facility is required. Prior travel experience in a nursing role is necessary. EPIC experience within the last 2 years is mandatory. Valid BLS certification.
