Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
district in Hartford, CT is seeking full-time licensed School
Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services for
students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. These
contract positions begin as soon as possible and run through June
16, 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal due to recent staff
resignations. The role offers opportunities to work across various
age groups and settings within the district. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators, families, and
staff to develop and implement intervention plans Support
social-emotional and behavioral needs of students within school
settings Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute expertise on student mental health and learning needs
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with
district and state regulations Provide crisis intervention as
needed Qualifications: Current and active School Psychologist
license in Connecticut Experience working in K-12 school
environments Strong background in conducting evaluations and
interpreting results Excellent communication and collaboration
skills Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday
Possible Placement Opportunities Include: West Bristol School: K-4
students, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Bristol Eastern High School: one of
two psychologists, 7:15 AM to 2:25 PM Destinations Therapeutic
Program: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Schedules typically range from 35 to
37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is a rewarding
