Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, dedicated to
providing top-tier care in our post-acute and long-term care
facilities. In this role, you will work closely with a team of
medical professionals to administer nursing care to our patients,
ensuring their comfort and enhancing their health and well-being.
Your tasks will include monitoring patient health, administering
medications, and assisting with daily living activities, all while
upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence. As a key
member of our healthcare team, you will play an essential role in
maintaining our commitment to care and exceptional patient
outcomes. Monitor and record patient health and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing,
and eating Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or
modify patient care plans Educate patients and their families on
treatment plans and health maintenance Ensure compliance with all
healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Coordinate with physicians and other nurses to respond to patient
emergencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability
to administer various medications and treatments Knowledge of
compliance with healthcare regulations Strong observational skills
to detect changes in patient health Crisis intervention skills Time
