Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years in PCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry required License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Experience in the Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required. Rural experience preferred. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Profile must include permanent address. Description: This position involves working in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit settings. Travelers must be comfortable with each specialty. Candidates must work independently and hit the ground running. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatric patients. The RN/patient ratio is generally 5:1, depending on acuity. For higher acuity PCU patients, the ratio may be 3:1 or 4:1. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted in the profile upon submission. Scheduling requests must be made at the time of application. Requests made after submission may lead to rescinded offers. This role requires the completion of skills checklists for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit that pertain to the position. A supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment is needed.
