Job Description:
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS)
is the state's lead office for information technology. We provide
enterprise level information technology services including network
management and security; computer operations; application hosting;
desktop provisioning and management; and modern and responsive
digital services to 40,000 internal stakeholders plus the
residents, business owners and visitors to the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.
EOTSS is seeking an experienced individual to join the Enterprise
Platforms Team as a Sr. Applications Developer who will act as the
Technical Leadresponsible for supporting a variety of enterprise
applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT
professional to join an exceptionally skilled team and contribute
to highly visible statewide initiatives. This individual will
facilitate change management activities between the project team
and IT service groups and participate in all phases of the project
life cycle with emphasis on application development, configuration
and thorough understanding of system architecture and design. The
candidate should have a strong background in application
development and background integrations for both server and cloud
platforms. The successful candidate should have excellent
communication skills and experience collaborating in
cross-functional teams. This candidate is expected to effectively
troubleshoot, identify, prioritize and timely resolve issues to
ensure all applications remain operational. This position will
support a number of applications based on the tasks and priorities
assigned by the manager.
The primary work location for this role will be at 200 Arlington
Street Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150. The work schedule for this
position is Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM. This position
would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work
that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed
. Occasional travel, on-call, and weekend support may be
required.
