Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in public transportation
services, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager
to lead our IT operations. This role is crucial to maintaining and
improving the technological backbone that supports our varied
transportation solutions across North America. The ideal candidate
will ensure that our IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and
efficient, aligning with our commitment to deliver top-notch
transportation services. Lead and manage the IT department,
overseeing infrastructure, support, and strategic IT planning.
Ensure continuous delivery and operation of IT services and support
systems. Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation,
development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile
services. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching
employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their
performance. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic
solutions in time, ensuring data security and management. Audit
systems and assess their outcomes, maintaining quality service by
establishing and enforcing organization standards. Preserve assets
by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information
security and control structures. Handle annual budget and ensure
cost effectiveness for the IT department. Proven expertise in IT
infrastructure strategic planning and development, project
management, and policy development. Hands-on experience with
computer networks, network administration, and network
installation. Proficient in managing staff and interfacing with
various business units and IT vendors. Strong understanding of data
analysis, hardware/software installation and maintenance, and user
support. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or
similar Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an
asset.
