The Dietary Service Worker (DSW) assist Cooks by cleaning,
cutting and processing food for cooking and serving. The DSW also
prepares patient trays by putting on menus, silverware, condiments,
dishes, food, etc. The DSW assists in preparing bread, desserts and
coffee. The DSW serves food on the cafeteria line, takes tray carts
and food trucks to other floors and buildings for serving.
The DSW cleans all food service equipment, returns soiled carts
and trays to the dish room and scrapes and prepares trays, dishes
and silverware for washing. The DSW loads and unloads the dish
machine and properly stores dishes, trays, silverware, etc. The DSW
washes pots, pans, dishes and other food service equipment that
cannot go through the dish machine.
The DSW keeps the area clean by washing walls, floors, kitchen
equipment and mobile trucks in kitchen areas, cafeterias,
refrigerators, freezers, storerooms and food service office.
All work is done in a SERVE Safe manner.
Schedule is 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM with Monday and Tuesday off

Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have at least six months of full-time, or
