Plant Engineer Job Role Summary: This individual provides technical expertise in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all Plant utility systems. The Plant Engineer works closely with the Facilities staff to improve the utility systems performance and reliability. Skill Set: working knowledge of HVAC, Boilers, Chillers and Purified Water. SME of operation and troubleshooting. NOT a facilities role, this role is more on of a technical position. Hands on experience is very important. Shift: 8am-6pm. Essential Duties: --- Provide direct engineering support for the clean utilities including USP purified water, clean steam, and process gases. In addition, the engineer will provide technical support for plant utilities including chilled water, steam, boilers, and condensate systems, including the associated BMS controls. --- The GMP HVAC support is to include expertise in air distribution, HEPA filtration and certification, and pressure differential and pressure alarming strategies. --- The Plant Engineer will have specific safety objectives to include proactively evaluating the safety of the operation of the utility and HVAC equipment and propose and implement safety improvements. --- The Plant Engineer will participate on project teams through all phases of engineering projects in the HVAC and utility areas including conceptual design, detailed design, equipment procurement, construction, installation, start up, commissioning, validation, and qualification of facilities and/or equipment. Requirements Qualification: --- BS in Engineering or equivalent. --- 2-5 years professional experience required in engineering, facilities or operations. --- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required. --- Must be able use his/her technical background to investigate issues using a structured problem solving approach to determine true root cause and develop effective corrective and preventative actions. --- Must be able to be able to find true root cause and path forward for complex problems. --- Familiarity with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required and basic statistical analysis techniques are preferred. Other Skills and Abilities: ? --- Strong attention to technical detail --- Strong mechanical, electrical and process hands on capabilities --- Demonstrates appropriate safety consciousness Computer Skills: --- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. --- Familiarity with automated Building Management Systems (BMS), Schneider EcoStruxure system preferred." Job Requirements:

  • Staffing the plant maintenance department
  • Evaluate plant equipment needs and recommend to the plant manager equipment
  • Manage projects and supervised plant maintenance/engineering operations
  • Lead plant production, engineering and maintenance activities
  • Provide plant support through preventive maintenance
  • Manage the overall plant engineering functions
  • Make plant/process decisions to meet plant production needs
  • Promote safety among plant employees
  • Maintain plant engineering and drawing files
  • Define plant and process layouts
  • Performing work in the plant
  • Modify existing equipment to improve plant operations
  • Maintain all plant and corporate engineering standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting plant cool systems
  • Meet plant objectives for maintenance, design, new development and improvement of plant procedures
  • Provide engineering support for project management of plant capital plans
  • Maintain proper maintenance documentation using plant maintenance software
  • Prepare engineering scope of works for plant projects
  • Expand plant location across the US
  • Lead the professional development of plant engineering personnel
