AIT is currently seeking a Forklift Operator II! This role will transfer goods and materials from incoming and outbound shipments via a forklift, in addition to moving materials throughout the warehouse.
+ Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered Forklift to pick-up, deliver or move materials around the warehouse location
+ Able to operate standard lifting devices and other basic material handling equipment
+ Operate machinery to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials
+ Perform the following: loads, unloads and stacks materials onto lifting device, weighs material or products and records on production schedules.
+ Perform safety checks on lifts.
+ The ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a team.
+ Comply with all company policies and legal guidelines
+ Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
+ Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary.

Other Skills We Hope to See:
+ High school degree / GED or Work equivalent required
+ 2-3 Years Experience
+ Forklift Certification required
+ Must be dangerous goods certified
+ Reading and writing English, knowledge of airport codes destinations and basic geography knowledge.
+ Exhibits strong typing skills/or data entry skills.
+ Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace, high volume environment.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations
Physical and Other Requirements:
+ Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain certification in Forklift Operation
+ Minimum lifting of 50 Ibs for a duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
+ Required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time.
+ Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
+ Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but the employee should be capable of working in an open work space, closely with team members.
